Photography

I found an early interest in photography at a very young age, and it is still one of my passionate forms of art today.  Some of my prized pieces have come from the innocence and raw beauty of nature.  There's always so much to see and learn.  I continue to explore my natural surroundings whenever wandering out for a stroll along the west coast of British Columbia.  Even a short walk in the park can surprise you with something new to discover.  I've also been able to capture the natural characteristics in people when they're not staring into the camera, and this has also displayed the natural beauty in everyone.  There's beauty everywhere when looking through the viewfinder.

Creative Arts

I've  been working with mixed media for most of my life, over forty, maybe fifty, years.  Coming from a long lineage of artists, I've had no choice but to be artistically creative, it's in my ancestry and in my genes, whether I like it or not.  I've been inspired by some works of family members, and have taught art techniques to individuals, small & large groups, (and myself).  I find it interesting to learn new art techniques, or old techniques to make them new again, and continue to challenge myself.

In late 2020, I set up a small shop on Etsy for the sale of some creative art works.  In late 2022 I'm currently taking a break from Etsy.  If you have interest in purchasing any artwork on this site, please contact me directly through my contact page.  An online shopping cart is not yet incorporated on this site.
